I am referring to palliative care for life limiting, ADL interfering chronic illness–not hospice. My husband and I have done hours of research. We found a certificate physicians can print and send to insurance company, pharmacy and put in the chart–yet I believe the state has to have a palliative care law.  I know the federal government has made progress on this front, yet we are confused! Thanks for all your great work!

Robin, Irrespective of state law, insurance companies can make their own policies.  Consider contacting your insurance company and ask them what they need.
