Doc:  Thank you for this blog and question opportunity.  5 years ago I hurt my back.  Got hooked on Percocet for 2 years. Transitioned to Suboxone 3 years ago.  Mid March of this year, I reinjured my back and had surgery to fix the issue.  At that point I was on 4 mg Suboxone.  During the 5-7 days of hospital and immediate recovery, I was on opiates.  At the end of 7 days I changed back to Suboxone…the opiates really made me feel very ill.
At any rate, here I am 4 months later looking to stop Suboxone totally.  I am on 2-3 mg per day.  My doc game me Lucemyra as well.  What are your thoughts regarding Lucemyra being able to help?  I’ve heard various stories regarding Sub withdrawel, some say like a cold, others say worse.  Any advice…
If I did a long taper, would it be a nonevent…i’ve had difficulty staying on track with long taper….
Thank you for your help and consideration.  CP

You’re down to a pretty low dose, so Lucymera is an excellent choice and should be very helpful.
